Culture and music came together for a noble cause as Tata Medical Centre, announced a performing arts evening titled ‘Flame of Hope’. With the beautiful inspiration of the Ganges the event kick-started with a resonance of Vedic Chants, Hymns, Azaan and Gurbani by well-known maestros. Ex – cricketer Ravi Shahstri was the guest of honour for the evening. The event witnessed Padma Shri Paresh Maity who was deeply influenced by Benares, create magic on canvas at the Prinsep Ghat. Well-known maestros Rashid Khansaab and Bickram Ghosh kept the audience mesmerised by their performance. The popular and versatile singer Usha Uthup gave a soul soothing performance by reciting a hymn. Well known classical dancer Malavika Sarukkai moved the audience with her rendering dance performance that depicted a piece on life and death. The finale of the evening was with Enchanting Ganga aarti by the priests from Benaras. We at Shobiz are elated to bring alive this one of a kind heart-warming experience, crafted on a barge on the banks of river Ganga.

Ford entered the ‘fun to drive’ cars list with its newest member the Ford Figo Sports edition. To make the first drive of Figo Sports even more exciting for the delegates, the American multinational manufacturer chose the rough and nasty deserts of little Rann of Kutch. We crafted the drive experience for a strength of 100+ media personals that came to test the fun features of Figo Sports from all across India. The delegates were divided in batches as they drove the amazing hatchback in its natural habitat. We created an installation that best showcased the new avatar of Figo. Partnering Ford since the launch of its first Figo edition we have always provided them with best in class event solutions. Our understanding of the brand and involvement in providing them with unique solutions has always been appreciated by the client.

Hitachi Data Systems hosted the 6th Annual APAC GSI Summit 2017 to unlock new opportunities, growing in the digital era and usher in real business transformations. A 3-day grand experience was crafted at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, with the central theme 'Transform Today, Differentiate Tomorrow’ that focused on helping businesses succeed and build societies that are safer, healthier and smarter. The speakers highlighted topics that revolved around Digital Transformation. Taking cues from the deserts of Middle East we were delighted to offer the delegates with an extravagant gala dinner that revolved around the theme of ‘Arabian Nights’. A scintillating belly dance performance complimented with authentic percussion music by local performing artists added sparkle to the evening. Assisting HDS for the first time for this event we were happy to provide them with end to end event solutions and look forward crafting many such memorable experiences for them in near future.

Fair & Lovely is known to be the best in the world for its fairness solutions but that hasn’t stopped the brand from innovating further. The global leading brand lately unveiled the facelift of its tube for the sales team of HUL. Being the trusted partner of HUL, we were given the task to bring alive the relaunch of Fair & Lovely across 8 cities simultaneously in a span of 4 days. We created a dramatic launch experience by crafting a mock-up of the new tube that was unveiled through pivot. Post the launch the delegates formed teams and shared their plan of action to increase the sales of the all new Fair & lovely. The project being multicity launch, attention to detail and micro-planning were important aspects considered by Shobiz which was much appreciated by the client.

Jeep India, part of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India portfolio invited the press to unveil their SUV, Compass that will be soon entering the Indian market. The event was held at FCA’s manufacturing plant at Ranjangaon near Pune. Shobiz was the designated partner of choice for this press launch. The experience kick-started with the roll out of their first Made in India Jeep Product by Kevin Flynn the President and MD of FCA who revealed the key details like the design, philosophy, technology that is going to be used in the production. After the conference, the media was taken for a tour of the plant to give them an insight about the making of Compass that will be solely built at the facility in Ranjangaon. Partnering FCA for the first time, we were able to assist them with a worry-free experience through seamless coordination and impeccable execution that was much appreciated by the client.

Maersk ALC Meet 2017

Maersk Line organised an ALC meet 2017 conference for reorganizing A.P. Moller-Maersk an integrated transport & Logistics Company. The 2-day conference in Renaissance, Powai saw a strength of 250 people gathered for highlighting the company’s strategy and vision. Keeping in mind client’s business we provided them with a unique stage design that resembled a ship. Day one saw the internal speakers shed light on the company’s future mission. Mr Ashok Lalla former head of digital marketing for Infosys and Taj hotels proved to be the best pick as a motivational speaker for this event. The interesting theme of Casino Royal for gala dinner was proposed that saw the entire venue submerged under an exquisite décor right from photo opp backdrops to party props. The event witnessed outstanding employees being felicitated at the gala dinner followed by some spectacular performances by their own employees. The employees celebrated their achievements at the party that served as a perfect closure to the entire event experience.

Mercedes Benz invited media to experience the all new Long Wheel Base E-CLASS, their latest entity in the sedan segment. Shobiz was assigned the responsibility of assembling the entire event experience, right from the unveil to the intriguing drive for media. The event was spread across 8 days in Park Hyatt, Goa for 5 batches of media and 1 batch of sales team from dealerships. Keeping in mind the revolutionary design of Mercedes Benz E class we deployed innovative main stage solution by creating a life size replica of the E class dashboard screen for the unveil of the car. To compliment this dashboard, we up scaled a self-lit acrylic alphabet E next to the screen that resembled the feature of ambient lighting in the car and changed colours simultaneously as per the changing content on the main screen. After the briefing, the convoy drove through narrow winding roads of old Goa that proved to be an interesting test bed to see how this masterpiece handles everything that is thrown at it. Our experience in the automotive sector over the years to assemble large scale media drives has given us an edge over the others to pull of such one of a kind drive experiences.

SAP D-kom is an annual global development kick-off meeting series for SAP employees covering SAP Labs around the globe. Over 7500 attendees gathered to discover some of the best product innovations, technologies, architectures, and practices of SAP software for the two-day event. A massive area at KTPO Bengaluru was converted in event arena that housed over 30 track sessions happening each day across 2 days. The keynote speakers highlighted the strategic direction for the coming year and learning about new trends in the industry. We added value to the conference by giving R.F Headphones to all track attendees and thus created silent zones for track sessions to be conducted simultaneously at the venue. The event witnessed enthralling performances by artists like Zakir Khan, DJ Suketu and Crazy Scientist. Tata’s flagship property Tata Crucible Campus Quiz in its 13th edition aimed at bringing together the sharpest young minds in India to take on the heat of the toughest quiz of the country. The quiz initially started with eight cities, reaching to about 800 students in India, has now expanded to 38 cities, with over 14,000 students participating this year. Based on the theme of ‘gamification’ this year, each round challenged the participants on their ability to strategize, think out of the box and exercise their analytical thinking. The host Giri Balasubramaniam also known as Pickbrain, kept the audience riveted with his intriguing questions and his distinctive style. The impact of seamless co-ordination has always been appreciated by the client which reflects through our long-standing association with TATA Group and such renowned brand properties.

Thomson Reuters FX Global Traders Community event

Bringing together the iconic locations of 3 cities under one roof!

The global multimedia giant hosted a funfilled celebration for their Global Traders at St. Regis, Mumbai. The event saw a strength of 350+ delegates from the field of trading who deal with trading solutions and currencies throughout the year, hence the task at hand for Shobiz was to make the experience exciting and engaging for them instead of following a regular conference format. We provided Thomson Reuters with an interesting theme of ‘Global Traders’, inspired by the concept of Globe Trotters, designed for the one who deals with numbers all 365 days of the year, trading currencies and exchanging trade solutions. We imbibed the theme in every aspect of the event right from the invite that was strategically designed like a passport to the main event experience. The registration desk resembled an airport kiosk while the main event was divided in 3 zones that replicated 3 countries – London, New York & Singapore chosen due to the presence of the most important forex centres in these countries. The zone resembling London displayed the city’s beautiful skyline on a LED backdrop as well as housed a thematic bar setup. We curated an ambience that depicted the busy junction of Times Square, New York and upscaled a DJ tower above the LED screen at a height of 14 ft thus making the entire zone vivacious, energetic and lively. We recreated the Marina Bay Street Circuit in the Singapore zone and let the delegates relive their childhood by allowing them to compete in the toy car race. By combining unique concept with trending technology, we were able to deliver an exciting, engaging and innovative experience for the delegates.
